 Bombay Talkies music review

The movie Bombay Talkies based on four tracks which is directed by Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Ashi Dua. It has wonderful cast including the legend Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, the stunning Katrina Kaif, Saqib Saleem and Randeep Hoonda worked well to reach it on the peak of success. The entire story revolves around them and playing roles for Cinema industry. In other words, you can also say that it will be the tribute for completing victorious hundred years of Indian Cinema. Well, when we discuss about its music which is directed by Amit Trivedi and all tracks were beautifully sung by Kailash Kher, Richa Sharma, Kavita Seth, Mohit Chauhan, Shukwinder Singh and Javaid Bashir. Lyrics of this album were made by Amitabh Bhatacharya and Sawanand Kirkire.

Let’s go towards tracks of this album the first and dedicating song of this movie is “Give it Up for Bachchan” this is the first time that this type of dedication is given to the marvelous actor of the whole Indian Cinema Industry where the famous stars will present to welcome the one and only Amitabh Bachchan. Sukhwinder Singh sung this song very beautifully that affects listener’s mind and compels them to move their body whereas Amitabh Bhatacharya provided its lyrics.

The first attractive and pop energetic song of Ye Jawani hai Deewani is “Badtameez Dil” that spread its magic on the hearts of youngsters and worked as publicity of this movie. Shefali Alvares and Benny Dayal sung this song marvelously. Hope you will enjoy this song in audio and video both because of the outstanding performance of Ranbbir Kapoor and his co-stars. Never mind about its nonsense lyrics that are something about Paan mein Podina daikha, Naak ka Nagina daikha, Chikni Chameli daikhi etc just enjoy the music.

Another song of Bombay Talklies is “Murabba” that will give you a strong feeling that you have heard it before. It is very popular and entertaining doze in the category of music because it is sung in both Solo and Duet. The Solo type sung by Javaid Bashir whereas Duet sung by Kelash Khair and Risha Sharma. Murabba is a boosting and energetic track with the mixture of musical instruments like Dhool and Guitar. Mohit Chauhan sang a song “Akkad Bakkad” in tribute to completing hundred years of Hindi Cinema industry with full success and hard work. Lyrics of this song were given by Swannand Kirkire. Shehnai and Guitar worked well to make this track outstanding.

A title song of this movie is “Bombay Talkies” which is remarkably different than other songs. It is loud and bright and heavy musical instruments were used to making it attractive and pop typed. This is beautifully sung by Kailash Kher and Richa Sharma, both worked well to enhance its beauty. All tracks of this album are full of Masti and Hungama type and good to move the body in a dancing style having features to allure its audience and take them in the world of entertainment.
